The 2012 Vincent J. Kohen 5K will be Saturday, August 11 at 9:00 am. 

Proceeds from the race will go to Dayton Diabetes, the Vincent J. Kohen Scholarship fund.

This years race will be run at Patricia Allyn Park in Springboro, Ohio. About half the race will be on the road with the other half going back in the trails behind the park.

The run is being held in memory of Vince Kohen who was highly instrumental in the development of youth soccer in the Dayton area. Proceeds from the event with go to the Vincent J. Kohen Memorial Scholarship Fund which will be awarded to local soccer players graduating from high school and who are planning on continuing their soccer career at the college level. Proceeds will also go the Diabetes Dayton.
